He looked at us..

I was so filthy. But He still loved me. My heart was impure. But He brought me to His side. I turned my back on Him too many a time, but He forgave me even though I made the same mistake countless times. How wondrous the truth that is revealed by the gospel!

I was wrong. I preached what I did not do. I preached grace, but did not practice it. God says not to just preach but be doers of the Word.

How can I turn my back on others who still do not know the truth? even, those who know but turn their back on God? for the Lord, so holy, has not given up on them and so should I. In the same way, if God had given up on me, wouldn't I have been like them too?

As in Mark 2:17, "On hearing this, Jesus said to them, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners."

O Lord, teach me to be more like You. As You say in Isaiah 55:9, "As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts higher than your thoughts."

Let us both win

Dear Atheists..

Let's say if there's no God, and one day we both die. Both of us lose everything.
Let's say if God exists, you still lose while I gain everything.
Either way, you'll lose.

God loves you, whoever you are..

He died for us because of love.

Safe in HIS ARMS

This psalm is just so beautiful. The kind of love given by God to us.. is expressed so beautifully through this psalm. All we have to do is to just acknowledge His Lordship over our lives, make Him our shepherd in our hearts, in other words, choose to follow Him and He will make us lie down in green pastures and lead us beside still waters..

Psalm 23:

My Lord is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside still waters,
he restores my soul.

He guides me in paths of righteousness,
for His name's sake.

Even though I walk
through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil,
for You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff,
they comfort me.

You prepare a table for me
in the presence of my enemies
You annoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD
forever.

A Dedication

This blog is dedicated to my God, my King, my Redeemer and Lord. I pray this blog will be a blessing to everyone who reads it.

Footprints...

One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the Lord. Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. In each scene, he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand; one belonged to him, and the other, to the Lord.

When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked back at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that many times along the path of his life there was only one set of footprints. He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in his life.

This really bothered him and he questioned the Lord about it. "Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way. But I have noticed that during the most troublesome time in my life, there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand why, when I needed you the most, you left me.

The Lord replied, "My precious child, I love you and I would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, that's when I was carrying you."

Indeed, the love of God is so real. He is always faithful, and as long as I choose to follow Him, I can claim God's Word in Joshua 1:5 "No one will be able to stand up against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you."

Safe in His arms.
