A delayed testimony

I know I've shared this with quite a few people already. But still, until now, the healing took place so visibly and right in front of me that I am still so shocked. It really is amazing..

It was a few weeks back already. As usual, I was recording testimonies of people who came up to the stage to give testify of God's healing Hand upon their lives during the miracle service. This boy came up, i think about 13 years or so, can't remember his exact age, and he wanted to give glory to God for reducing the huge lump on his arm. I looked at his arm. Wow. The lump was huge. I was like, "huh? healed or not healed yet?" HAHA. I mean it was really big.. that means before that must have had been even bigger cos he said it was reduced by 50%.

The lump was huge. Gigantic. It was the size of about 2/3 the length of his forearm. The lump was there since he was young. It was a result of infected vessels in his arm.

So, as usual, i carried on recording but had to stop because he had to go forward to the front of the stage to testify. So he went forward. After pastor asked him a few questions, he prayed for the boy. We prayed for him too. The church prayed for him too. WOW. The LUMP REDUCED TO ABOUT 80%. Only about 1/4 of it was left.

Praise God! Truly, God honours what He says. As He said in His Word, "He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed." He, referring to Jesus Christ.

Fun facts

1. The first Christians were Jews.

2. Sin is a bondage.

3. Adam may not have eaten an apple. It could be any other fruit as the Bible didn't say it was an apple.

A beautiful prayer

Dear Jesus,
Help me to spread Thy fragrance everywhere I go.
Flood my soul with Thy spirit and love.
Penetrate and possess my whole being so utterly that all my life may only be a radiance of Thine.
Shine through me and be so in me that every soul I come in contact with may feel Thy presence in my soul.
Let them look up and see no longer me but only Jesus.

Stay with me and then I shall begin to shine as you shine, so to shine as to be a light to others.
Amen.
Every one in the world has spiritual needs. We all have different needs. Let's talk about sorrow for instance. Every one has a certain degree of sorrow in their hearts. And that sorrow needs to be gotten rid off. That open wound needs to be healed. Some of us would just get ourselves busy, hang out with friends, go to the night clubs, drown ourselves in busyness to conceal that wound.

However, the truth is, that wound, so deep, can only be concealed temporarily. When the lights are off, when the music stops, when you are alone in the room.. all your pain returns. What you need is true healing, not some temporary concealment.. and that.. can only be found in Jesus Christ.

Yes, it is some Christian talk again. Talking about God's goodness and always praising Him. Always saying that God is the answer. But how? Yes, you may feel that Christians are so annoying. They keep pestering you to go to church and to know God. Yes, I admit that sometimes we are insensitive to others' feelings and even their beliefs. And I apologise.

The truth of the matter be told, I was once pretty annoyed with Christians too, before I became one that I realised the reasons behind their actions, especially their pestering. It is truly God who is the answer and we just can't wait for u to know Him so that all your wounds can be completely healed. It is truly only God who can answer all needs and fill the void, the emptiness that is in our hearts. Just singing praises to Him can fill our hearts. Just doing what He says will heal our wounds. It is just so simple. so simple that we can't stand seeing your agony, seeing your pain, seeing your unfilled needs and not doing anything about it, not giving you the Ultimate Answer which we found before you, that is in God alone.

That's the reason behind our pestering. I'm sorry if we did it in an unloving manner. I apologise. It should not be. God respects your choice and so should we. However, every choice has consequences. Receiving Christ into your heart will fill that emptiness and He will give you eternal life. The other, will lead to eternal condemnation.

Now you ask, why eternal condemnation? Why is God so mean? If He really loved us, why did He create hell that we had to suffer in if we made the wrong choice?

Remember, God is loving yet holy. It's His holiness that makes His love so pure, so divine, so protective, so patient. It's His holiness that makes sin detestable in His eyes, even as much as He loves you. He cannot stand sin. Just like your earthly father, he punishes when you do something wrong. Why? Because he loves you. He just wants you to do what he knows is good for you. Imagine heaven with people who are lustful. Imagine heaven with rapists, murderers, thieves. What kind of heaven is that? You may ask, why such a heavy punishment? It's unfair! Honestly, I understand why you are saying it's unfair. But is it more fair to God then? When He had to come down from His throne of glory in heaven to die for our sins-- to die the most painful death, nails hammered into the palms of His hands, for our sins.

It is God's holiness that required the atonement, innocent blood in place of our sins.. that means to wash away our sins and cleanse us. Who would provide that innocent blood? Who? God Himself decided to sacrifice Himself, to provide that atonement that was required for us to be without sin in His eyes, as long as we would acknowledge that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Saviour, and receive Him into our hearts. God gave us an easier way out through His sacrifice. He did not have to come to die for us but He did. So, is it fair to Him? Is it unfair to us now? Absolutely not, since we have an easier way out through His sacrifice.

God loves you. He died for you and I. Accept His love for you. Now is the time of salvation.
I will come and bow down
At Your feet Lord Jesus
In Your presence
Is fulness of joy
There is nothing
There is no one
Who compares with You
I take pleasure in
Worshiping You Lord

Heaven is Your Throne
And the earth is Your footstool
Jesus I come to bow down
At Your feet
O how I love just
To worship before You
In Your presence
My joy is complete

There is nothing
There is no one
Who compares with You
I take pleasure in worshiping You
I take pleasure in worshiping You Lord

There is nothing
There is no one
Who compares with You
It's my pleasure to
Love You Lord
It's my pleasure to
Glorify You Lord
It's my pleasure to worship You Lord

Indeed, in His presence, there is joy. In His presence, our joy is complete.

Just a thought

Sometimes I ask God for a closer relationship, but yet I choose not to spend time with Him. Sometimes I ask Him for a totally yielded life, but yet I don't listen to His call.
Sometimes I ask Him for His presence to fill me, but yet I go away from His presence.
Sometimes I ask God to teach me His ways, but yet I don't want to learn.

How ironical.
