Day 3 - A Harvest-Producing Rain
"Ask the Lord for rain in the time of the latter rain. The Lord will make flashing clouds; He will give them showers of rain..." Zechariah 10:1
Most of us who are attuned to God's Spirit have come to believe that a great harvest of souls is on His immediate agenda. Throughout history, great outpourings of the Holy Spirit have been accompanied by a great harvest of souls. The first such outpouring took place, or course, on the Day of Pentecost. That day, people were refreshed, revived, empowered, and filled with joy. Soon thereafter, 3000 souls were saved, and this great harvest of souls continued in the fledgling Church on a daily basis. As the harvest grew ever larger, people in the affected areas became alarmed and persecution broke out against the Church. Consequently, the disciples needed another wave of empowerment so they could remain faithful to God.

My thoughts:
Ex 16:10, "While Aaron was speaking to the whole Israelite community, they looked toward the desert, and there was the glory of the LORD appearing in the cloud."
The glory of God can be manifested in the form of a cloud. Hence, the phrase 'Glory Cloud' is used at times.
One thing I found interesting in the book "The Mysteries of the Glory Unveiled" by David Herzog was that you can see the glory cloud but we need to know how to get the cloud to manifest rain - the harvest-producing rain. That happens when we have 'knowledge of the glory', knowledge of that cloud, to get it to rain. Hence, we need the 'knowledge of the glory' to see the heavens opened and the mysteries of the glory unveiled!
"For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea" (Habakkuk 2:14)
